YOGIC TEA RECIPE
Here are the many healing and delicious tea served in the Saturday 8:15am AyurYoga class, which introduces health, balance and soothing aroma to our practitioners. SWEET IMMUNE
Benefits:

Boost Immunity, speed up recovery from surgery or sport, great for digestion boost, great energy boost, ease symptoms of arthritis, simply delicious!
Ingredients:
-
1 cup of pineapple, 1 banana, 1 tbs turmeric, 1 tbs ginger, 1 glass of milk (plant milk is ok)
Preparation Method:
-
Heat up choice of milk with ginger and turmeric powder to boil.

Place pineapple and banana in high speed blender, and pour the hot liquid mixture and blend all ingredients into thick liquid.

Enjoy the delicious hot drink! Optional: Sprinkle of cinnamon on top!

HEAVENLY YOGIC TEA
Benefits:

Boost Immunity, remove inflammation, regulate blood sugar, aid digestion, remove stomach acidity, detoxify body.
Ingredients:
-
Few slices of fresh Ginger (omit during summer), 1 fresh Turmeric root (slices), 4 pods of cardamon, 4 cloves, 2-3 pieces of Lemongrass, 1 cinnamon stick (or a sprinkle of cinnamon powder), sprinkle of nutmeg.
Preparation Method:

You can place all ingredients in a tea pot and add hot water, or you can boil all ingredients in a pot for 5-10 minutes.

Turn off the fire (*important: if using a stove), let it cool down to a drinkable temperature, then add a table spoon of raw honey in to the tea.

Add some milk or plant base milk into the tea.

Sprinkle some black pepper into the tea and enjoy!

GOLDEN SHIELD BLEND
Benefits:

Strong immune boost! Plus anti inflammation, stress relief, blood sugar regulation, respiratory relief, soothes sore throats.
Ingredients:
-
Thumb size ginger pieces fresh, 4-5 cardamon pods (cracked open), half table spoon of cinnamon powder, tulsi tea leaves (or tea bag), pinch of black pepper, 1 table spoon of fresh lemon water, honey.
Preparation Method:

Boil all solid ingredients in water for 3 minutes, or sit in a thermos with hot water for 10-15 minutes. (Love the strong ginger burn? Prepare the thermos with hot water the night before and add ginger slices in to sit overnight! The smaller the pieces are, the hotter will be!)

Allow the tea to cool down to a drinkable temperature, then stir in lemon juice and honey.

ELDER'S BLISS
Benefits:

Boost Immunity, fight flu, cold, and chronic inflammation, stabilizes blood sugar level, reduce oxidation stress, great source of flavonoids.
Ingredients:
-
1 tea spoon of dried elder berries, 1 tea spoon of cinnamon powder, 5-6 cloves, 1 table spoon of lemon juice, honey.
Preparation Method:
-
Place everything in a big pot with 1L of water. Bring it to boil all ingredients (besides honey & lemon juice) in a pot for 10-15 minutes. You can also place everything into a big thermos and pour 60C- 70C hot water in (and seal it)

Let the tea cool down before mixing honey into the tea.

Elderberries are deliciously eatable and excellent source of fibre.

PURE PULSE INFUSION TEA
Benefits:

Reduce heart disease risk, anti inflammation, strengthen blood vessel, improve blood production, improve digestion
Ingredients:
-
Thumb size ginger pieces fresh, equal size turmeric slices fresh, 4-5 cardamon pods (cracked open), half table spoon of coriander seed powder, 1 table spoon of fresh lemon water., pinch of black pepper.
Preparation Method:

Boil all ingredients in water for 3 minutes, or sit in a thermos with hot water for 10-15 minutes

Allow the tea to cool down a little, then stir in honey.

ELIXIR OF LIFE
Benefits:

Boost Immunity, anti-aging, anti inflammatory, improve blood production, great anti-oxidants, improve eye and skin health, stabilizes blood sugar level
Ingredients:
-
6-7 Red dates (jujube fruit - pit in) / hand full of goji berries / 4-5 slices astragalus root
Preparation Method:
-
Wash all ingredients, and score each red date with a sharp knife to cut open the skin surface.

Place everything in a big pot with 3-4L of water. Bring it to boil all ingredients in a pot for 10-15 minutes. You can also place everything into a big thermos and pour 60C-70C hot water in (and seal it)

Let the tea cool down, then use a slotted ladle to scoop the ingredients out. The goji berries and red dates are delicious and eatable!

Optional: mix a tea spoon of honey into a cup and enjoy this ancient recipe!

GLOW FLOW TEA
Benefits:

Boost immunity, reduce cholesterol, improve digestion health, improve bowl health, relief menstrual cramps, improve breast milk production.
Ingredients:

Tea spoon of ginger (small pieces fresh / powder), tea spoon of turmeric (small pieces fresh / powder), 3-4 spear mint leaves or 1 tea bag, half tea spoon of Fenugreek seeds, 1 tea spoon of fresh lemon water.
Preparation Method:

Boil all ingredients in water, or sit in a thermos with hot water for 10-15 minutes
-
Add honey for taste when ready to drink on empty stomach.
